How to Create a Blofin API Key for Wick Hunter

Wick Hunter supports direct integration with Blofin, enabling seamless automated trading.

Step 1: Log in to Your Blofin Account

  1. Visit https://www.blofin.com and log into your account

  2. Hover over your profile icon (top right)

  3. Select API Management

Step 2: Create a New API Key

  1. Click Create API Key

  2. Under Purpose, select:
    🔘 Linking third-party apps (not API trading)

  3. Under App Name, search for and select WickHunter

If you don’t see “WickHunter” in the list, make sure you’re using the latest web version of Blofin or try typing it manually.

Step 3: Set API Permissions

Ensure the following permissions are enabled:

  • Read – To fetch account balances and trading data

  • Trade – To execute orders via Wick Hunter

  • Do NOT enable Withdrawals

Step 4: Complete Security Verification

  • Confirm the request via email and 2FA (Google Authenticator)

  • Click Submit or Confirm to generate your keys

Step 5: Copy Your API Key and Secret

  • Copy your API Key and Secret Key immediately

  • You will not be able to view the Secret again later

  • Store these securely in a password manager or encrypted file

Step 6: Connect Blofin to Wick Hunter

  1. Open Wick Hunter

  2. Click Connect Exchange

  3. Select Blofin

  4. Choose Manual Connect

  5. Paste your API Key and Secret

  6. Name the connection (e.g., “Blofin – WickHunter”)

  7. Click Connect

Success!

You’re now connected to Wick Hunter via Blofin! Your bots can now begin placing trades based on your strategies.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure Read and Trade are enabled — nothing more

  • Avoid selecting Withdrawal permissions for security

  • If your connection fails, check if Blofin restricts API usage by IP region

  • If something goes wrong, delete the API key and create a new one
