Connecting your Bitget account to Wick Hunter allows you to automate your trading securely and efficiently.

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Log in to Bitget (on Desktop)

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Hover over your profile icon in the top right

  3. Click API Management

Step 2: Create a New API Key

  1. Click Create API

  2. Choose System-Generated API Key

  3. Add a label like WickHunter

  4. Select API Type: Connect to Third Party App

  5. In the dropdown, choose WickHunter (or type it if it doesn’t show)

Step 3: Set Permissions

Set the following permissions:

  • Enable:

    • Read

    • Trade (required to place orders)

  • Do not enable:

    • Withdrawals

    • Assets Transfer

Wick Hunter only requires trading access and does not need withdrawal permissions for security reasons.

Step 4: Complete Security Verification

  • Enter your email code

  • Enter your 2FA (Google Authenticator) code

  • Click Confirm

Once verified, Bitget will generate your API key.

Step 5: Copy Your API Key & Secret

  • Copy the API Key and Secret

  • Save them securely — the API Secret will only be shown once

Step 6: Connect to Wick Hunter

  1. Open Wick Hunter

  2. Click Connect Exchange

  3. Select Bitget

  4. Choose Manual Connect

  5. Paste your API Key and Secret

  6. Name your connection (e.g., “Bitget – WickHunter”)

  7. Click Connect

Done!

You’ve successfully connected your Bitget account to Wick Hunter. You can now begin automating trades, managing bots, and maximizing your strategy.
